Psalm 16 provides multiple promises.

“You are my Lord, for the only good I know in this world is found in You alone.”
The Lord God, my Savior and Refuge. In Him, alone, do I find goodness.
I found so many promises here. And also, a sense of joy in the midst of a world of sin. My life-giving cup is filled to overflowing.
You, Eternal One, are my sustenance and my life-giving cup. In that cup, You hold my future and my eternal riches. My home is surrounded in beauty; You have gifted me with abundance and a rich legacy.
Thank You, Eternal One. You are my sustenance. In Your hands, You hold my future. I am surrounded by beauty. You provided me with a rich legacy.
I will bless the Eternal, whose wise teaching orchestrates my days and centers my mind at night. He is ever present with me; at all times He goes before me. I will not live in fear or abandon my calling because He stands at my right hand.
Thank You, Lord, that Your Word centers my mind at night. You stand with me, Your presence surrounds me, and You go before me. You are glorious!
And now, I live the good life in You, Lord God.
This is a good life—my heart is glad, my soul is full of joy, and my body is at rest. Who could want for more?
You take me into Your arms and point me to the path to take as I walk with You! Oh, thank You, Lord, for the privilege. Your pleasures are never-ending. With You, Lord, I now know true joy and contentment.
Instead, You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment.

Verse of the Week and My Prayer for You
Psalm 15
Protect me, God, for the only safety I know is found in the moments I seek You. I told You, Eternal One, “You are my Lord, for the only good I know in this world is found in You alone.” The beauty of faith-filled people encompasses me. They are true, and my heart is thrilled beyond measure.
All the while the despair of many, who abandoned Your goodness for the empty promises of false gods, increases day by day. I refuse to pour out blood offerings, to utter their names from my lips.
You, Eternal One, are my sustenance and my life-giving cup. In that cup, You hold my future and my eternal riches. My home is surrounded in beauty; You have gifted me with abundance and a rich legacy.
I will bless the Eternal, whose wise teaching orchestrates my days and centers my mind at night. He is ever present with me; at all times He goes before me. I will not live in fear or abandon my calling because He stands at my right hand.
This is a good life—my heart is glad, my soul is full of joy, and my body is at rest. Who could want for more? You will not abandon me to experience death and the grave or leave me to rot alone.
Instead, You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment.

Whispers of Grace
In the quiet of the West, grace speaks loudest.
Isaac Sutton carries the heavy burden of a tarnished name and a ranch steeped in the shadows of his father’s failures. Driven by duty and a deep-seated need to protect his brothers and their newfound family of orphans, he’s sworn off complicated feelings - especially those sparked by his children’s teacher.
Enter Louisa Miller, grace and sunshine personified. Driven by compassion and a call to service, Louisa takes the harrowing trek across the country to become the teacher for the motley passel of abandoned children housed on the rugged Sutton ranch. She expects challenges, but not the commanding presence of the handsome, fiercely protective cowboy who becomes her unexpected boss.
A little mischief from the children and a few bumps in the road of misunderstanding soon give way to mutual respect. As Louisa’s unwavering faith and gentle spirit mend the children’s broken hearts, Isaac finds his own defenses crumbling beneath her light. But when a dangerous threat to their fragile peace appears, it will take more than courage. It will take both their hands clasped in prayer and their unwavering trust in the Lord to fight for the future they never meant to find, but desperately hope to keep.

When I was running around the country and Mexico in airplanes (up to 18 airplanes a month). I often arrived at the airport between 5-6 AM. After getting settled and the coffee with Tylenol started to bring me to some degree of cogninitivity, I would do the readings of the day along with Psalm 16. Got this from reading Og Mandino and the 'Greatest Salesman in the World'. Paul. Thank you sos much for this!
