Psalm 25 caught my eye because The Voice translation uses all caps on the words utilizing the English alphabet.
CERTAINLY none of the people who rely on You will be shamed, but those who are unfaithful, who intentionally deceive, they are the ones who will be disgraced.
This Psalm continues with David’s pleas for protection and also his praise of the Eternal God. Those who intentionally deceive will be disgraced.
DEMONSTRATE Your ways, O Eternal One. Teach me to understand so I can follow. EASE me down the path of Your truth. FEED me Your word because You are the True God who has saved me. I wait all day long, hoping, trusting in You.
This is where I fall in line with David’s thoughts. Lord, teach me to understand You so that I can follow Your ways. Take me down the path of Your truth, which is holy and firm. Feed me Your word because You are the God that saves. I will wait in Your presence all day long, hoping and trusting in You.
The Lord deals with us with compassion and mercy, His grace through Christ Jesus providing us with forgiveness and the opportunity to change.
With JUSTICE, He directs the humble in all that is right, and He shows them His way. KIND and true are all the ways of the Eternal to the people who keep His covenant and His words.
With justice, God directs me and shows me the right things to do. His ways are kind and true. You show me the right path You have chosen for me. You give me purpose.
His soul will NOT only live in goodness, but his children will inherit the land. ONLY those who stand in awe of the Eternal will have intimacy with Him, and He will reveal His covenant to them. PERPETUALLY my focus takes me to the Eternal because He will set me free from the traps laid for me.
Not only do You care for me with goodness, but You also provide for my children. I stand in awe of You and am blessed with Your presence daily. My focus leads me to You in all I do. You set me free.
Quietly You turn Your eyes to me, and Your compassion soothes my soul. When troubles build on the horizon, and fear grows inside of me, You see my troubles and misery. With You, I can face shame and defeat unashamed. You are my refuge. I wait for You.
Thank You, Lord, for Your love and care.

CERTAINLY none of the people who rely on You will be shamed, but those who are unfaithful, who intentionally deceive, they are the ones who will be disgraced.
DEMONSTRATE Your ways, O Eternal One. Teach me to understand so I can follow. EASE me down the path of Your truth. FEED me Your word because You are the True God who has saved me. I wait all day long, hoping, trusting in You.
GRACIOUS Eternal One, remember Your compassion; rekindle Your concern and love, which have always been part of Your actions toward those who are Yours. Do not HOLD against me the sins I committed when I was young; instead, deal with me according to Your mercy and love. Then Your goodness may be demonstrated in all the world, Eternal One.
IMMENSELY good and honorable is the Eternal; that’s why He teaches sinners the way. With JUSTICE, He directs the humble in all that is right, and He shows them His way. KIND and true are all the ways of the Eternal to the people who keep His covenant and His words.
O LORD, the Eternal, bring glory to Your name, and forgive my sins because they are beyond number. MAY anyone who fears the Eternal be shown the path he should choose.

SEE my troubles and my misery, and forgive all my sins. TAKE notice of my enemies. See how there are so many of them who hate me and would seek my violent destruction. Watch over my soul, and let me face shame and defeat UNASHAMED because You are my refuge. May honor and strong character keep me safe. VIGILANTLY I wait for You, hoping, trusting.
Save Israel from all its troubles, O True God.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for my reader. Thank You for lifting her soul. She puts her trust in You, and You won’t let her be humiliated. You have shown her Your ways and which path to follow. She sees Your truth and waits, hoping in You.
Thank You, Lord, for showing her Your compassion. You forgive her of her sins, dealing with her according to Your mercy and love. Thank You, Lord, for showing her what is right and just. You are kind and true to her. Even her children understand Your greatness, goodness, and Your presence.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I’m back to writing the next Morro Bay. The characters in the next book are taking advantage of the many events in the area. Some center around wine, and some around bird watching. I’m buying storage sheds and looking up packing materials so my mother-in-law can move in! So exciting!
