Book Study, Verse of the Week, and My Prayer for You
Anna’s Book Study Group (linked to the group page) is in Chapter 2. We will be reading Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. I’ve posted the introduction to the book and my thoughts. Chapter One is ready, and Two will be posted soon. If you are interested in joining me, comment on the posts. I won’t be sending emails for this.
Colossians 3:12-14
12 Since you are all set apart by God, made holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a holy way of life: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Put up with one another. Forgive. Pardon any offenses against one another, as the Lord has pardoned you, because you should act in kind. 14 But above all these, put on love! Love is the perfect tie to bind these together.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for my reader. Lord God, thank You for setting her apart, making her holy and dearly loved through Christ Jesus. She clothes herself with a sacred way of life full of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. She has the power and strength to do these things through Your Spirit.
With You in her heart, she can put up with fellow believers. She can forgive as You have forgiven her. She dwells in Your love, Lord, which makes it all work well. Thank You, Lord, for Your love and mercy towards us.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus's name, Amen.
