As the wind dies down, firefighters take a breath as we begin the cleanup.
The Fires
Many fires are burning all over southern California. There is devastation, and also a reminder that we all are vulnerable. In the midst, people are helping their neighbors and taking the time to make sure people are safe.
Join me in praying for rain here in the Southland and for the safety of all US people dealing with winter storms, fires, and ice. I also pray for the people of the world who are dealing with war, explosions, and a lack of food, water, and shelter.
Progress: Book 2 of Morro Bay Mysteries
Several surprises have been showing up in Book 2 of Morro Bay Mysteries. The surprise woman in Festus’s life will take time for the cat and his owner to adjust. Nancy and Acting Chief Wilson are getting closer. The romance between Julian and Mary takes off, finally. I can’t wait to see what else shows up.

Joshua (to the people): Do all the ritual purifications and prepare yourselves because tomorrow the Eternal will show you wonders.
Lord, thank You for my reader. Lord God, I call out to You on her behalf. Give her a mind ready to be purified from sin. Thank You, Lord, that she can know You. Open her heart and let the light of Your truth flood in.
Thank You, Lord God, for shining Your light on her. Reveal to her the wonders of Your glory. Let her feel Your presence in her life. Lord, thank You for loving her and accepting her as she is. Your Holy Spirit fills her, and through Jesus Christ, she stands confident.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus's name, Amen.
