Happy New Year! I had an off week due to an ear and sinus infection. It is nearly healed. So I have drunk lots of water and slept to boost my immunity. My hubby comes home today from visiting with his mom. I don’t think he got much work done there, so he'll feel pressure at work.
Jesus came to give life with joy and abundance. This year, this verse is my focus. I accept the gift from Christ Jesus of joy and abundance. The joy of the Lord is my strength. He owns the cattle on the hills. And He watches over me.

John 10:6-10
6 Jesus explained a profound truth through this metaphor, but they did not understand His teaching. 7 So He explained further.
Jesus: I tell you the truth: I am the gate of the sheep. 8 All who approached the sheep before Me came as thieves and robbers, and the sheep did not listen to their voices. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be liberated, will go in and go out, and will find pastures. 10 The thief approaches with malicious intent, looking to steal, slaughter, and destroy; I came to give life with joy and abundance.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for my reader. Thank You that she understands Your teaching. She hears only Your voice. You have liberated her. She finds good pastures of abundance.
Thank You, Lord, my reader lives with joy and abundance. She recognizes the thief who approaches her with malicious intent. You stop him from stealing or destroying her.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus' name, Amen.
