Joshua 23:6-11
6 So be firm and unswerving, observing all that is written in the law of Moses without deviation. 7 That will ensure that you don’t start to blend in with the other nations around you or call upon their gods or worship them or serve them. 8 Just hold tightly to the Eternal One, your True God, as you always have, 9 for He has driven out great and powerful nations before you like leaves in the wind, and you know that no one has ever been able to stand against you. 10 One of you can pursue a thousand because it is He who fights for you, just as He promised. 11 So always be careful to love the Eternal One, your God.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for my reader. Lord God, thank You that she trusts in You. She holds tightly to You, the Eternal One, the One True God. You fight for her daily.
Thank You, Lord, for giving her an intense desire to know Your word. She thirsts for the scriptures. She loves You, her God. Help her to fill her heart and mind with Your words daily.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus's name, Amen.
