What an exciting week I had. I finished the Trust Daily Prayer Guide to compile the Daily Prayer Guides Volume 5 book. For each new volume, I create four new Daily Prayer Guides.
Then, I finished the rough draft of Morro Bay Mysteries Book 1 and named it The Rocky Start. In this first book, we pick up a few weeks after Emily’s Cat Mysteries Book 8 ended. Acting Chief Wilson is trying to staff his office after weeks of just him and Sharon patrolling the town.
Donner, Wilson’s German Shepherd, is taking his position seriously and is setting up a network of animals to keep the humans from being stupid. He and Festus are tired of all the violence and want their tourist, fishing, and beach town back.

Isaiah 1:17-19
17 Learn to do good; commit yourselves to seeking justice. Make right for the world’s most vulnerable—the oppressed, the orphaned, the widow.
18 Come on now, let’s walk and talk; let’s work this out. Your wrongdoings are bloodred, But they can turn as white as snow. Your sins are red like crimson, But they can be made clean again like new wool.
19 If you pay attention now and change your ways, you can eat good things from a healthy earth.
Lord, Thank you for my reader. Thank You that You help her do good. She has commited herself to seeking justice. She makes things right for the orphans, sick, and marginalized.
Lord God, thank You that she can walk and talk with You. Together You help her work out her life. Even though she may have done wrong, You make her clean again.
Lord God, thank You for this earth You have given her. She helps to protect the earth and eats good things from it.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus's name, Amen.
