retirement changes, the planted flowers covers and my 🙏 prayer for you
the needy groan for My saving help. I will lift them up to the safety they long for

Sometimes, I feel like the Psalmist in Psalm 12. Where are Your people, Lord? Everybody lies. I feel like a myriad of lies surrounds me. Where is truth?
May the Eternal silence all sweet-talking lips, stop all boasting tongues,
I echo the call for the Eternal God to silence the sweet-talking, boasting tongues. But I know the Lord does not intend for me to focus on liars.
“I will rise up,” says the Eternal, “because the poor are being trampled, and the needy groan for My saving help. I will lift them up to the safety they long for.”
You hear the cries of the poor and needy. Lord, You understand people are being trampled, and they groan. You rise up with Your saving help, lifting us up to the safety we long for.
The Lord God is for me, and His promises are true. He is my protector and keeps me safe from harm.
And the liars? What of them?
All around, those who are wicked parade—proud and arrogant—and people applaud their emptiness.
Thank You, Lord God, that I am not empty. You fill me with Your joy, peace, and love.

Verse of the Week and My Prayer for You
Psalm 12
Help me, O Eternal One, for I can’t find anyone who follows You. The faithful have fallen out of sight. Everyone tells lies through sweet-talking lips and speaks from a hollow and deceptive heart.
May the Eternal silence all sweet-talking lips, stop all boasting tongues, Of those who say, “With our words we will win; our lips are our own. Who is the master of our souls?”
“I will rise up,” says the Eternal, “because the poor are being trampled, and the needy groan for My saving help. I will lift them up to the safety they long for.” The promises of the Eternal, they are true, they are pure—like silver refined in a furnace,
purified seven times, they will be without impurity. You, O Eternal, will be their protector. You will keep them safe from those around them forever. All around, those who are wicked parade—proud and arrogant—and people applaud their emptiness.
