Embrace true humility, and lift your heads to extend love to others.
The world around us becomes scarier every day. It is no longer a safe place. How we act in this new environment depends on how much we lean into God’s presence.
Do you practice true humility? Can you allow for disagreements or for someone to tell you no? Spend your time extending God’s love to others. His mercy and grace are for all peoples equally, rich or poor, saved or unsaved, at home or abroad. He is love.
Love does not speak harshly to get its own way. It is patient and kind, generously giving to all.
If we all pray for each other to show kindness, gentleness, and mercy this day, can we not expect God to move in our hearts?
Lord, we pray today for Your Spirit to move upon the masses, spreading Your love, kindness, gentleness, and mercy to each person they meet. We hold back the forces of evil so that Your kindness is visible to the world over. For each day, we pray for You, Lord, to strengthen our hearts and minds to follow You. Verse of the Week and My Prayer for You
Philippians 2:1-6
If you find any comfort from being in the Anointed, if His love brings you some encouragement, if you experience true companionship with the Spirit, if His tenderness and mercy fill your heart; then, brothers and sisters, here is one thing that would complete my joy—come together as one in mind and spirit and purpose, sharing in the same love. Don’t let selfishness and prideful agendas take over. Embrace true humility, and lift your heads to extend love to others.
Get beyond yourselves and stop protecting your own interests; be sincere, and secure your neighbors’ interests first. In other words, adopt the mindset of Jesus the Anointed. Live with His attitude in your hearts. Remember: Though He was in the form of God, He chose not to cling to equality with God;
Prayer
Lord, thank You for my reader. Thank You that she is encouraged by Your Spirit every day. Your tenderness and mercy fill her heart. She doesn’t let selfishness and pride take over, but she embraces true humility. She extends love to others.
Thank You, Lord, my reader’s heart is sincere in serving You. She lives with Your attitude in her heart. She joins with me in holding back the evil powers of this world in Jesus’ name. And her heart is kind.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus' name, Amen.
