Psalm 63:1-4
1 O True God, You are my God, the One whom I trust. I seek You with every fiber of my being. In this dry and weary land with no water in sight, my soul is dry and longs for You. My body aches for You, for Your presence.
2 I have seen You in Your sanctuary and have been awed by Your power and glory.
3 Your steadfast love is better than life itself, so my lips will give You all my praise.
4 I will bless You with every breath of my life; I will lift up my hands in praise to Your name.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for my reader. O True God, thank You that You are her God and she trusts You. In this dry and weary land, she longs for You. She aches for Your presence. Surround her with Your power and glory.
Thank you, Lord God, that my reader has experienced Your steadfast love. It is better than life. Her lips praise You and bless You with her every breath. She lifts her hands to glorify Your name.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesus' name, Amen.
