Psalm 21 is another psalm written by David. It is a forward-looking psalm and hints at Jesus, the Messiah. David is the king of Israel, and the Lord God grants David his requests. As a king leading his men into battle, he had to trust in the Most High.
The king rejoices in your strength, Lord. How great is his joy in the victories you give!
David understood that his strength came from the Lord. And his victories were given to him by the Lord. In his younger years, David walked in faith in God. He delivered David from his enemies when David was a shepherd. And the Lord God delivered David from Goliath.
In the same way, we trust in the Most High through Jesus Christ our Savior.
I rejoice in Your strength, Lord God. You give me victories every day. When I bring to You my heartās desires, You grant them to me. You bring me rich blessings and gift me life in Your presence. I trust in You.
With You, through Jesus Christ, I am not shaken. My feet stand on a firm foundation. Your unfailing love lifts me higher. Is it any wonder that I sing praises to You? You are the Almighty God!

Verse of the Week and My Prayer for You
Psalm 21
The king rejoices in your strength, Lord. How great is his joy in the victories you give!
You have granted him his heartās desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. You came to greet him with rich blessings and placed a crown of pure gold on his head. He asked you for life, and you gave it to himālength of days, for ever and ever.
Through the victories you gave, his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty. Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence. For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken.
Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies; your right hand will seize your foes. When you appear for battle, you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace.
The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and his fire will consume them. You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from mankind. Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed. You will make them turn their backs when you aim at them with drawn bow.Be exalted in your strength, Lord; we will sing and praise your might.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for my reader. Thank You that she sees the rich blessings You bestow on her. You are her joy as she celebrates victories over sin. She will not be shaken by her circumstances, for You give her life in Your presence.
Thank You, Lord, that You give her the desire of her heart and make her plans succeed. She shouts for joy and praises Your name. You give her victory and grant her requests. She trusts in You, not in money, power, or her own strength. She rises and stands firm in You. You give her victory and answer when she calls.
Lord, You are our Great and Mighty King. You fight for us every day. We trust in You. We rest in You, knowing You are faithful. Help us to be grateful and praise Your name, Almighty God. Be glorified through her. In Jesusā name, Amen.
