who am i that god cares for me and my đ prayer for you
But You placed the son of man just beneath God
The existential question of Psalm 8 brings man down to reality. Who am I that God cares about me? Even young, innocent children can wield Your power to stop Your enemies and quash revenge-seekers.
God is Majestic in all things. He created all things, on earth, in the heavens, through time. His Majestic name is heard throughout the world. His magnificent glory shines above the skies.
God placed man just below God, honored him like royalty, and crowned him with glory.
O Eternal, our Lord, Your majestic name is heard throughout the earth.

Verse of the Week and My Prayer for You
Psalm 8
O Eternal, our Lord, Your majestic name is heard throughout the earth; Your magnificent glory shines far above the skies. From the mouths and souls of infants and toddlers, the most innocent, You have decreed power to stop Your adversaries and quash those who seek revenge.
When I gaze to the skies and meditate on Your creationâon the moon, stars, and all You have made, I canât help but wonder why You care about mortalsâsons and daughters of menâspecks of dust floating about the cosmos.
But You placed the son of man just beneath God and honored him like royalty, crowning him with glory and honor. You ordained him to govern the works of Your hands, to nurture the offspring of Your divine imagination; You placed everything on earth beneath his feet: All kinds of domesticated animals, even the wild animals in the fields and forests, The birds of the sky and the fish of the sea, all the multitudes of living things that travel the currents of the oceans.
O Eternal, our Lord, Your majestic name is heard throughout the earth.

Echoes of the Heart
A Second Chance Christian Romance (Westward Hearts Book 2)
In the rugged heart of Texas, old wounds can echo louder than the wind.
Jacob Sutton has spent years burying the memory of the girl who left him with a broken heart, trading their shared dreams for a future far beyond the dusty horizon. Now a steady-handed cowboy with a calling he canât ignore, Jacob is determined to rise above his past and earn the medical training he needs to serve the remote communities of the West. But when the only doctor qualified to mentor him is the very woman who broke his heart, things get complicated.
Callie returns to her hometown carrying secrets sheâs vowed never to speak and a resolve forged in the lecture halls and sickrooms of her hard-won education. Yet none of that prepares her for the suspicion of a grieving father who blames her for the loss of his son or the storm of old, aching feelings that reignite the moment she meets Jacobâs eyes.
Thrown together by duty, necessity, and a danger neither expected, Jacob and Callie must navigate a fragile truce as they work side by side. Respect slowly rebuilds the trust they once shattered, and Callieâs quiet courage awakens Jacobâs long-buried hope. But in a town uncertain of a woman doctor - and with shadows of the past threatening the peace they desperately need - the path forward will demand more than skill and grit.
It will require forgiveness, faith, and the healing only God can give to redeem a love nearly lost and guide them toward the future they were always meant to find.
